Real Madrid are going through a rough patch of form right now. They might have won their recent game against Real Valladolid by a dominant 6-0 scoreline but overall, their performances have not been consistent over the past several months. Not many players have stepped up to the plate during this period of time but there have been a few whose stocks have risen.
Eduardo Camavinga certainly falls under that category. The Frenchman is vital to Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI right now. But that was not the case not too long ago.
Camavinga was struggling for minutes in the first half of the season and there were even some suggestions for him to be sent out on loan in order to gain experience. Some rumours had even been floated about him being included as part of a deal for Jude Bellingham.
Camavinga has looked like a completely different player in the second half of the campaign though, following the World Cup break. And now, it looks like he is drawing interest from the Premier League.
Liverpool eyeing transfer move for Real Madrid player
As reported by Fichajes (via The Hard Tackle), Liverpool are keen on Camavinga. They are not the only Premier League club interested in the Frenchman either.
It is not hard to see why clubs might be interested in signing Camavinga. But Real Madrid simply cannot entertain the idea of parting ways with him.
Not only is Camavinga a vital part of their starting XI but he is just 20 years of age as well. Not many players can nail down a spot in Real Madrid’s team at this stage of their career. The Frenchman is a special talent and the sky looks like the limit for him. Let’s hope that he remains at Santiago Bernabeu for a long time to come.
