There are a number of players at Real Madrid right now whose current deals will run out at the end of the season. We are just months away from the summer transfer window, and it is still unclear what Los Blancos are planning to do regarding the contract situation of a number of players.
One player whose future is uncertain at the moment is Dani Ceballos. For a long time, it had looked like the Spaniard was destined to leave, as he struggled for playing time.
But then he turned his Real Madrid career around and played his way into Carlo Ancelotti’s side. In fact, for a while he was even the club’s best performer. Now, Ceballos finds himself back in a substitute role again and it is unclear what his long-term future holds.
Ceballos’ performances seem to be drawing the interest of several clubs though. He has been linked with Atletico Madrid on more than one occasion. And now, it looks like a move to the Premier League might be a possibility as well.
Premier League club readying offer for Real Madrid player
As reported by 90min, Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to make an audacious offer for Ceballos. The club are readying an approach for the Spaniard, but are aware that he will need persuading to leave Real Madrid.
There have been some rumours which have suggested that Real Madrid want to offer Ceballos an extension as well. But till now, he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Ceballos has proven over the past few months though that he is very capable of contributing to this Real Madrid team. Thus, letting him walk out as a free agent in the summer might not be a wise decision on the part of the club. Let’s see what the future holds though.
