The arrival of the club legend has not had an impact on their performances though, as they lost 1-0 to Wolves in an uninspiring display.

Real Madrid will know that very well. In their previous games over the past couple of seasons, Mount is someone who has put up some big performances.

Thus, him missing the game against Real Madrid will be a blow for Chelsea, who looked lost anyway. Thus, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have to be considered as the heavy favourites to go through into the next round of the competition. In fact, they might be well placed to get a big win over the Blues.
