Real Madrid, of course, have kept a close eye on South American football and signed several bright prospects from there over the years. The likes of Federico Valverde, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo have gone on to become first-team starters. On the other hand, they made a headline-grabbing move for Endrick recently as well.
Now, it looks like they have an Argentine wonderkid in their sights too. But there is plenty of high profile interest in the youngster, who has earned comparisons to Messi at just 17 years of age.

Echeverri has been the talk of Argentine football lately, following his impressive performances. He is just 17 years of age though and plays for River Plate.
Echeverri is a forward but he has also shown the ability to set up his teammates as well. The youngster is also a very good dribbler and has the ability to keep hold of the ball even when under pressure. Thus, it is not hard to see why the young Argentine is being compared to Messi already.
He seems like a can’t miss prospect and it is promising that Real Madrid are being linked with him. It remains to be seen if the club end up making a move for him in the summer or not though.
