Real Madrid have a number of players in their ranks whose long-term futures at the club are in doubt. One such player appears to be Brahim Diaz, who has been out on loan at AC Milan for the past three seasons. He has been impressing in the ongoing campaign though and appears to have caught the eye of a number of clubs around Europe.

AC Milan are believed to be interested in keeping him at the club beyond this campaign by signing him on a permanent basis. Rumours have suggested that they have an option to buy set at around €22 million but would like to lower that figure slightly.

On the other hand, several teams from the Premier League are believed to be interested in Brahim as well. One such club is Arsenal. Real Madrid could be open to letting him go for a €25 million transfer fee.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via HITC), Arsenal have made contacts over getting a transfer for Brahim over the line.

Of course, the possibility of Brahim returning to Real Madrid cannot be ruled out either. But one has to wonder how much playing time he would get at Santiago Bernabeu, especially now that it is looking like Marco Asensio could be handed a new deal.

Interestingly, Asensio is someone that Arsenal were heavily linked with as well. But now, it looks like they have set sights on Brahim.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Brahim at Real Madrid. There is no doubt that he is a very talented player and his versatility could be a positive addition to this squad as well. On the other hand, there is plenty of interest in his signature. Other than Arsenal and AC Milan, the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked with him in recent weeks.
