Real Madrid’s midfield might be in need of a bit of a rebuild soon. They have some terrific players in the middle of the park for sure but at the same time, one cannot overlook that Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are in the twilight of their careers. Thus, sooner or later, the club will have to bring in replacements. At the same time, it does not feel like they have really replaced Casemiro either, as he left for Manchester United in the summer.

Thus, it would not be a surprise if Real Madrid are keeping an eye out for midfielders these days. And one who seems to have caught their eye is currently playing for Torino is Serie A.

As reported by Tuttosport (via Mundo Deportivo), Real Madrid is closely following Samuele Ricci. Torino could be looking for an offer between €20 million and €25 million to let him go. Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli are also interested in the midfielder.

Ricci has been a standout player for Torino in Serie A. On the other hand, he has represented the Italian national team on a couple of occasions as well.

Ricci is just 21 years of age and as a result, would be a long-term signing for Real Madrid. He has represented Italy at multiple youth levels and recently broke into the senior team as well.

Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be a fan of Ricci’s talents. And it remains to be seen if Los Blancos end up making a move for him in the summer or not.

Real Madrid have some great up and coming talent in the middle of the park as well like Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, while Fede Valverde and Dani Ceballos have enough experience now to take the next step. Someone like Ricci could be a good addition to that mix.
