Real Madrid have done a great job when it comes to identifying and developing youngsters in recent years, before giving them their chance in the first-team. The club have pretty much moved away from their Galactico policy of the past, and yet, they have continued to enjoy success on the pitch.
As a result, one would expect the club to continue bringing in highly-rated youngsters. Although, some Galactico signings in the future like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham cannot be ruled out either.
It looks like a Spanish winger from Malaga is the latest to catch their eye in recent times. And he could be available on a free transfer in the summer.
As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Juanma Lopez is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The club will look to sign him in a Bosman move in the summer if he leaves Malaga.
Real Madrid want to sign Spanish winger for free this summer
The future of Lopez, or Juanmita as he is more popularly known, is up in the air. His current deal with Malaga is set to run out in the summer and he is yet to put on paper on an extension.
It is believed that Malaga want to hand him a new deal as soon as possible. But on the other hand, there is no lack of interest in his signature. Real Madrid are not the only club being linked with him. The likes of Atletico Madrid and Villarreal are rumoured to be keeping an eye on the Spanish winger as well.
Such top level interest in the 20-year-old is curious to be honest. It was only this season that he made his senior debut for Malaga and has not played much football at the top level at all.
