Real Madrid have been linked with a long list of players in recent times. And rumours do suggest that the club are getting close to getting a deal done to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. That would be a major coup for sure. The Englishman has the potential to be the best midfielder of his generation.
At the same time though, there are several other areas across the pitch where the club need to bring in reinforcements. Right-back is one of them.
It is quite clear that Dani Carvajal is no longer the player that he was in his prime. On the other hand, Real Madrid do not seem to have any long-term solution in the position either. Nacho Fernandez and Lucas Vazquez are past 30 years of age while Alvaro Odriozola has barely featured and is expected to leave in the summer.
Thus, Real Madrid might need to strengthen at right-back soon. And they appear to have quite a few players on their radar.
Real Madrid are interested in Manchester United player
Dalot has enjoyed a great season with Manchester United and he seems to be a key part of Erik ten Hag’s plans. But his current deal with the club runs until the summer of 2024. And it remains to be seen what the long-term future holds for him.
Someone like Dalot could be a solid addition for this Real Madrid side. But it will not be easy to sign him from Manchester United either. Thus, it remains to be seen if Los Blancos end up making a move to sign the Portuguese international star in the near future or not.
