Real Madrid’s forward line will be in need of some new additions in the future. The club already have the wingers of their future set with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. However one of the missing pieces is, who is going to replace Karim Benzema at striker. The Frenchman, now 35, is still playing at the very highest level and is arguably the best striker in the world on his day.
However, it is inevitable that father time will catch up with Benzema sooner or later. We have already seen him struggle with constant injuries this season. And as a result, Real Madrid must keep an eye out on potential replacements.
There are many young strikers who could potentially be available either this summer or the next one. And Real Madrid should keep an eye on their situations. And it looks like a French international has caught their attention.
As reported by Relevo, from France they confirm that Real Madrid have asked about the situation of Randal Kolo Muani. There is one major hurdle to overcome though. Eintracht Frankfurt are asking for at least €80 million to let him leave.
Real Madrid ask about Bundesliga standout
Kolo Muani seems to be one of the players on Real Madrid’s radar for the future. The 24-year-old has impressed many across Europe this season, for his performances for both Eintracht Frankfurt and the French national team.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kolo Muani has scored 21 goals and provided 15 assists in 42 appearances this season.
However, Los Blancos would face stiff competition if they enter the race for Kolo Muani with clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and PSG all showing interest in the French international. Also, considering the transfer fee that Eintracht Frankfurt appear to be looking for for the striker, it is hard to see him ending up at Real Madrid anytime soon.
