Jude Bellingham might very well be the most in-demand player in world football right now and it is easy to understand why as well. At just 19 years of age, the Englishman has proven himself at the very top level for both club and country and is already amongst the best midfielders on the planet. And now, it looks like he might be closing in on a move to Real Madrid.

Those have been the suggestions over the last few days. It looks like Real Madrid now find themselves in pole position to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, although they still need to agree a transfer fee with the Bundesliga club.

There have also been rumours that an approach from Manchester City has been turned down. It does not look like that is the case though.

As reported by The Athletic, while holding an interest in Bellingham, Manchester City have not submitted offers or provided financial numbers to either Borussia Dortmund or the player himself, regarding a transfer fee or salary.
