Real Madrid will need to start bringing in some reinforcements very soon to ensure that they continue to enjoy success on the pitch. They have been linked with a number of world-class players in recent times. A move for Jude Bellingham is rumoured to be edging closer. But Los Blancos might be aiming for more.

Karim Benzema is now 35 years of age and has struggled with multiple injury problems this season. When fit, he still performs at a high level though. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo seem to be the wingers of the future. But sooner or later, Real Madrid need someone to replace the iconic Frenchman.

There are many young forwards in Europe that the club could target for their future, but there seems to be one name that will always be mentioned when it comes to Real Madrid. And that is none other than Kylian Mbappe.

As reported by The Telegraph, Real Madrid will look to take advantage of the uncertainty at Paris Saint-Germain this summer and explore a potential world record move for Mbappe.

Mbappe back on Real Madrid’s radar this summer

The French superstar has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for years, but it has not materialised till now. Could it finally happen this summer?

Mbappe left a bitter taste in the mouths of Real Madrid fans last season due to his unexpected decision to extend his contract with PSG. However, there aren’t many who would say no to signing the Frenchman, if the opportunity presented itself in the future.

It looks like Real Madrid might be looking to build a team of new Galacticos, who could dominate European football for years to come. Mbappe wouldn’t be available on a free transfer till the summer of 2024 at the earliest. So any move for the Frenchman this summer would most likely require them to shell out a world record transfer fee.
