Real Madrid need to bring in new faces in the summer. The club might have continued to enjoy success in cup competitions, but there is no doubt that they have lacked consistency throughout the course of the season and often end up relying on individual brilliance to get them past the finish line in important games.

One of the biggest reasons behind their inconsistency has been their lack of options all across the pitch. And hopefully, they will improve in that aspect in the summer.

One area that the club need to improve in is full-back. Both right-back and left-back are a position of worry for Real Madrid right now.

Eduardo Camavinga has done an excellent job at left-back but his long-term future lies in the middle of the park. On the other hand, Dani Carvajal is no longer the player that he was in his prime and sooner or later, the club will need to find a long-term successor for the Spaniard at right-back. Could they solve both issues by signing one player?

Real Madrid offered chance to sign Manchester City player

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Joao Cancelo during the summer transfer window.

Not too long ago, Cancelo was considered as one of the best full-backs in the world. But he has faced some struggles after the World Cup break.

He lost his place in Manchester City’s starting XI and has been sent out on loan to Bayern Munich. Thus, his long-term future remains up in the air and it looks like Real Madrid might have the chance to sign the Portuguese international in the summer. Following his recent struggles, it is even possible that the 28-year-old could be available for a bargain transfer fee.
