Real Madrid will have it all to play for in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-finals against Manchester City. The first leg at Santiago Bernabeu ended in a 1-1 draw. Thus, most people give Pep Guardiola’s side a slight advantage, as they will have the home advantage. But if there is one thing we have learned about Carlo Ancelotti’s team until now, it is that you should never count them out. Last season’s semi-finals between the two teams is proof of that.

Real Madrid have proven to be the masters of navigating tough situations. And this midweek, they will find themselves in another one.

Los Blancos have been handed a huge fitness boost ahead of the second leg against Manchester City though. It looks like Eduardo Camavinga will be fit to take on Guardiola’s side, after having picked up an injury scare at the weekend.

As tweeted out by Arancha Rodriguez, tests have ruled out a serious injury to Camavinga. He suffered a slight sprain in his left knee and is without problems to play against Manchester City.

Camavinga appeared to pick up a knock in the game against Getafe at the weekend. Thankfully, it does not appear to be anything serious.

Camavinga has been one of Real Madrid’s best and most consistent players after the World Cup break and established himself as a nailed on starter. The French youngster was absolutely superb in the first leg against Manchester City as well.

Thus, his availability for the second leg boost for Los Blancos without doubt. This is going to be a tough game and if Real Madrid are to get the better of Manchester City, then they will need to have their best players available. Camavinga certainly falls under that category at the moment.
