Fabrizio Romano rubbishes Real Madrid transfer rumour
Real Madrid appear to be closing in on a move for Jude Bellingham. All the signs point towards the Englishman switching Signal Iduna Park for Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Rumours have suggested that everything has been agreed on the player’s part but the two clubs still need to agree a transfer fee.
Some fresh rumours had broken out today regarding the Bellingham move. It suggested that Real Madrid could look to add Brahim Diaz as part of the deal in order to bring the fee down.
Brahim has been a standout player for AC Milan this season. And it has seen him being linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal.
It looks like there is no truth to the Borussia Dortmund rumours though. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano said that Brahim will not be part of the Bellingham deal.

Thus, it looks like Brahim will not be a part of the deal for Bellingham. And it is expected to take a transfer fee north o €120 million to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Considering his ceiling, it might very well be worth it though. Bellingham has the potential to be the best midfielder of his generation. At 19 years of age, he is already considered amongst the best on the planet. If Real Madrid are to replace the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, they will need a special talent like him.
On the other hand, the future is much less certain for Brahim. He has spent the past several seasons on loan at AC Milan and has been earning a lot of plaudits recently. And he might finally return to Real Madrid this summer. Would he have a clear role in the team though?
