Real Madrid’s season is pretty much over for all intents and purposes. They have already won the Copa del Rey while Barcelona have been crowned La Liga champions. Carlo Ancelotti’s side were also knocked out of the Champions League, following a disappointing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City. Thus, with four games still to go in this campaign, Los Blancos have nothing left to play for.

The club seem to be preparing for a big summer transfer window. And one player who seems to be closing in on a blockbuster move to Real Madrid is Jude Bellingham.

Signing Bellingham would definitely appease a lot of fans, who have been left disappointed by the club’s campaign as well as their lack of transfer activity in recent years. On the other hand, one of their players could be headed in the opposite direction as part of the deal with Borussia Dortmund.

As reported by Calciomercato, Real Madrid would be considering the possibility of including Brahim Diaz in the operation with Borussia Dortmund to lower the economic outlay.

Brahim has been out on loan at AC Milan for the past few seasons and has been impressing everyone with his displays. So much so that several Premier League giants have been linked with a move for him.

Of course, a return to Real Madrid cannot be ruled out. But then, one has to wonder if Brahim would have a big enough role in the first-team.

Thus, including him in a deal for Bellingham might make a lot of sense for Real Madrid, as well as Borussia Dortmund. Now, it remains to be seen how things turn out. At the moment, all signs point towards the Englishman ending up at Santiago Bernabeu. What does the future hold for Brahim though?
