Real Madrid player open to leaving amid exit rumours
Real Madrid’s squad could undergo a bit of a shake up over the summer. There are a number of positions in need of reinforcements while a few at the club are not making much of a contribution at this point of time. Let’s see what the future holds but do not be surprised by both incomings and outgoings.
One player whose future at Real Madrid is believed to be up in the air is Ferland Mendy. There is no doubt that the Frenchman has played a big role in the club’s successes in recent years.
But at the same time, he has been struggling with form and fitness lately. On the other hand, the club are also set to bring in Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano in the summer while Eduardo Camavinga has impressed when playing as a left-back.
All things considered, Mendy’s time at Real Madrid might come to an end in the near future. And he appears to be open to the prospect of leaving as well.

As reported by MadridXtra, journalist Santi Aouna said when asked about the situation of Mendy:
"“He is open to leaving Real Madrid. But he also feels well at the club, we must wait on this because there has been no offers and nothing is advanced with any clubs for the moment.”"
On his day, Mendy is one of the best defensive players in the game. And he has proven to be especially effective in the past when Real Madrid have come up against big teams.
At the same time, there have always been question marks over his game, when going up the pitch. And at the moment, he simply is not playing enough for Los Blancos, whether that be due to injuries or people moving ahead of him in the pecking order.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for Mendy. Let’s see if any of them end up making an attempt to sign him this summer transfer window.
