Real Madrid need to strengthen their ranks this summer and they are already well on their way to doing that. The arrival of Fran Garcia has already been announced, as the left-back returns to the club after establishing himself as one of the best in La Liga. On the other hand, they are believed to be close to signing Jude Bellingham as well.

Interestingly, Garcia is not the only Real Madrid youth graduate who the club seem to have had an eye on. A loan move for Joselu is rumoured to be close as well. And now, it looks like they also want to sign a goalkeeper who came through the ranks at the club before moving away to establish himself at the senior level.

Thibaut Courtois is the undisputed number one at Real Madrid. But they need other options as well, especially with Andriy Lunin rumoured to be on his way out.

As reported by MARCA, Real Madrid and Getafe will meet next week to close the signing of David Soria.

Soria spent many years in the Real Madrid youth system but was never able to establish himself at the senior level for Los Blancos. As a result, he ended up leaving Santiago Bernabeu.

First, he would end up at Sevilla, where he did play some first-team football. And then he moved to Getafe, where he has established himself as a starter at La Liga level.

Now, there appears to be a chance for him to make a return to Real Madrid. At 30 years of age, he has plenty of experience in the bag and should be a solid back up option for Courtois. Let’s see how things play out but do not be surprised to see Soria in the Santiago Bernabeu dugout next season.
