Time sure does fly because it has already been a couple of years since Sergio Ramos brought an end to his legendary run at Real Madrid. After that, he joined Paris Saint-Germain and has left the French giants this summer as well. Now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the Spaniard.

He was at the centre of one of the most successful eras in Real Madrid history and captained the side to many triumphs. Now though, Los Blancos find themselves in a bit of a transitional period.

Karim Benzema left the club this summer, and there are question marks over the future of Luka Modric as well. Overall, this feels like the start of a new era for Real Madrid.

One thing that they will need to do this summer is sign a world-class striker. Harry Kane is someone who has been heavily linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu. And the club’s fans will be happy with some comments made by Ramos recently regarding the England national team captain.

As reported by the Mirror, Ramos said:

"“My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win.“He (Harry Kane) has an incredible physical presence – you can’t score as many goals as he does in The Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game.“But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that. Yes he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.”"

Ramos will certainly know everything about Real Madrid and what it takes to be a success there. And Kane is someone who certainly seems to fit the criteria.

Kane has been one of the best strikers in the world for many seasons. In fact, one could argue that he does not get enough credit for brilliance simply because he has not been able to win silverware at Tottenham Hotspur.

Closing in on 30 years of age, it looks like Kane wants a change of scenery. And with just a year left on his current deal, Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be open to the prospect of him leaving as well.
