Manchester United interested in €80 million Real Madrid player

Valverde is a very good player without doubt. And in the past, Real Madrid have seemed unwilling to even discuss the prospect of an exit.

His form did take a dip in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign though, after making a blistering start to the season. And with Bellingham also set to arrive, there are question marks over whether the Uruguayan would be a nailed on starter come next season.

That goes on to speak about the depth that Real Madrid possess in the middle of the park more than anything else. Now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Valverde. Clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea do have the pockets to put a big offer on the table if they want to.
