Real Madrid’s squad transformation this summer has already started. The arrivals of Jude Bellingham and Fran Garcia have already been announced, and both of them could be regular starters this upcoming season. On the other hand, Brahim Diaz could be like a new signing as well, having spent the previous three seasons on loan at AC Milan. At the same time, a loan deal for Joselu is believed to be close as well.

Even more signings are needed though, with the squad lacking depth and having seen some key players leave at the end of the 2022/23 season. The forward areas are in particular need for reinforcements.

It looks like a German wonderkid has caught the eye of Real Madrid, after a promising debut season with Borussia Dortmund. It is none other than Karim Adeyemi.

As reported by BILD, Adeyemi has made it onto Real Madrid’s wish list. An initial contact with the player’s management is said to have already taken place. Los Blancos would probably have to offer a transfer fee of at least €80 million.

Adeyemi made a slow start to life at Borussia Dortmund but came into his own in the second half of the season. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in 32 appearances last season.

That is excellent return for the 21-year-old, who was playing his first season of football for Borussia Dortmund. Of course, Adeyemi’s versatility would be attractive to Real Madrid as well, as he is capable of playing on both wings or as a centre-forward.

Still, it is hard to see them shelling out anywhere near an €80 million fee to sign Adeyemi this summer. Borussia Dortmund are also expected to be reluctant to let him go, having already seen Bellingham make the move to the Spanish capital.
