Real Madrid player could be included in Kylian Mbappe deal
Paris Saint-Germain might be left with very few other options than to part ways with Kylian Mbappe, as it has become clear that the Frenchman will not be extending his contract with the Ligue 1 champions beyond the summer of 2024. Thus, they could try to find him a new club in this window or risk seeing him walk out as a free agent a year later. The World Cup winner’s future is up in the air and unsurprisingly, Real Madrid have been linked him again.
Real Madrid have been interested in signing Mbappe for years but the move has never materialised. The finish line does look to be sight though.
The initial expectation was that the club would try to sign him a free agent next summer. But the departure of Karim Benzema has changed the situation.
As reported by Okdiario, Real Madrid are willing to include Ferland Mendy in a deal for Mbappe in order to lower the transfer fee. The club are clear that they are not willing to reach the €200 million they offered for the Frenchman in 2021.
Real Madrid player could be included in Mbappe deal
Mendy is someone who has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid for a while now. The Frenchman has struggled with both form and fitness. On the other hand, the club have signed Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, and he was one of the best left-backs in La Liga last season.
As a result, it would make sense for Real Madrid to include Mendy in a deal for Mbappe. At the same time though, it is hard to see PSG entertaining the idea.
If Mbappe does leave PSG, there is not expected to be any lack of interest. One can only hope that he has his eyes set on a dream move to Real Madrid.
