Real Madrid have made a bright start to the summer transfer window, by signing Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia and Joselu. More arrivals are expected to be made, as the club are in need of reinforcements. On the other hand, several players have already headed out of the Santiago Bernabeu exit door and more could be set to follow.

One player whose future is uncertain at this point of time is Aurelien Tchouameni. The Frenchman arrived just last summer from AS Monaco, but life at Real Madrid has been up and down for him.

Tchouameni did make a bright start at Real Madrid. But as the season progressed, his form faded away, especially after the World Cup. On top of that, the rise of Eduardo Camavinga and the arrival of Bellingham have things more difficult for him.

Tchouameni might have lost his status as a nailed on starter for Real Madrid last season. But that has not stopped some of the biggest clubs in the world from being interested in signing him.

As reported by El Nacional, Liverpool are ready to offer a €55 million transfer fee to sign Tchouameni. But Real Madrid are not willing to let him leave for a figure lower than €80 million.

Of course, Liverpool are not the only club believed to be interested in signing Tchouameni this summer. Clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with the Frenchman as well.

Now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him. Tchouameni has shown flashes of brilliance during his time in the Spanish capital and there is no doubt about his potential. But with the level of competition in the middle of the park right now, one has to wonder whether he will get enough starting opportunities next season.
