Real Madrid need to sign a world-class striker this summer. Karim Benzema left at the end of last season almost out of the blue, when initial expectations were that he would sign an extension with Los Blancos. The club have brought in Joselu on loan since then, but with all due respect to the Spaniard, it feels like he has been signed as a cover option rather than the main man up top.

Most of the recent rumours have been pointing towards a move for Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman does not appear to be willing to extend his stay at PSG beyond the summer of 2024, and as a result, the Ligue 1 champions seem to be willing to negotiate his exit now rather than lose him as a free agent a year later.

There are still a lot of complications involved in a move for Mbappe though. So, Real Madrid should be keeping their eyes on potential alternatives as well.

One player who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer is Harry Kane. And the Tottenham Hotspur superstar has gotten advice from an unlikely source to make the switch to Santiago Bernabeu. None other than the man who plays Spider-Man!

Tom Holland is a Hollywood actor who plays the character of Spider-Man and he is a Tottenham Hotspur fan as well. And he believes that Kane should make the move to Real Madrid.

As reported by MARCA, when asked about the advice he would give to Kane, Holland said:

"“Go to [Real] Madrid. Be the best player in the world because you deserve it.”"

Kane has been one of the best strikers in the world for a long time now. But that has not translated to trophies at Tottenham Hotspur. With just a year left on his current deal with the club, the Englishman is expected to leave this summer. A move to Real Madrid seems unlikely at the moment though, as it is believed that the Spanish giants are not willing to shell out a €100 million transfer fee on the player who is set to turn 30 years of age next month.
