Real Madrid have built up quite the reputation for themselves, when it comes to signing young talents and turning them into first-team regulars. We have seen this happen with the likes of Vinicius Junior, Federico Valverde, Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga. All of them arrived in the Spanish capital as teenagers and were developed into starters at Santiago Bernabeu over the years.

The club have continued to sign players for the future this summer as well, bringing Jude Bellingham. Although he is someone who could probably be a nailed on starter from the get go.

Another teenager that Real Madrid have been linked with is Arda Guler of Fenerbahce. He is considered as one of the biggest talents in football today and has been dubbed as the ‘Turkish Messi’.

The 18-year-old has been putting up some big numbers for Fenerbahce already. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Guler scored 6 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 appearances and 1547 minutes of football last season.

Despite interest, it looks like a move to Santiago Bernabeu might not be on the cards for Guler. As reported by Record, Real Madrid’s intention to leave him for another season in Turkey made him refuse the move to the club.

Of course, there is no lack of interest in the signature of Guler. And most clubs in Europe would be happy to sign him, especially considering the fact that his release clause is believed to be set at around €18 million. In the long run, that could prove to be an absolute bargain, if he develops as expected.

Real Madrid have been linked with plenty of other young talents in recent times as well and they need to sign players this summer for sure. So let’s see how things turn out for Los Blancos.
