Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur offered chance to sign striker
Real Madrid need to sign another striker this summer. Karim Benzema brought an unexpected end to his run in the Spanish capital recently in order to join Al-Ittihad. On the other hand, Mariano Diaz left as well at the end of his deal. That left Alvaro as the only recognised centre-forward in the squad. Since then, Joselu has been brought in on loan, but more reinforcements are required up top if the club are to challenge for major trophies next season.
They have been linked with players like Harry Kane, Dusan Vlahovic, Kylian Mbappe and a few others in recent times. But deals of that magnitude will be hard to pull off.
On the other hand, the club have already splashed out on bringing in Jude Bellingham. Thus, could Real Madrid end up going for the simpler route.
As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur have been offered the chance to sign Beto this summer. It will take a transfer fee around €30 million to sign the Udinese striker.

Beto is coming off of a solid season, having reached double digits in Serie A. But with all due respect to the Portuguese striker, it is hard to see Real Madrid signing him to replace Benzema and be their main man up top.
Someone like Beto could have been a solid cover option. But Real Madrid have already brought in Joselu, and the in-form Spaniard would be expected to play that role.
What Real Madrid need right now is a world-class striker who can fill the void left behind by Benzema. But if it is not possible for them to sign the right player this summer, then they could wait a year for someone like Mbappe to hopefully become a free agent. In that scenario, they will need a short-term solution.
