Real Madrid have seen many key players depart the club in the early weeks of the summer. The list of names is highlighted by Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio. Both were important parts of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans last season and will need to be replaced. Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz have left as well.

Other players at the club had doubts over their futures too. However, Real Madrid have managed to agree several new contract extensions and secure their futures at Santiago Bernabeu. Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are two players, who will continue their legendary careers in the Royal White jersey.

However, with the arrival of Jude Bellingham, questions have been raised about the future of another Real Madrid midfielder. And the club will have some real thinking to do about the situation of Federico Valverde. Interestingly, there is plenty of interest in his signature.

As reported by El Nacional, at Liverpool, they already have a €90 million offer prepared for Valverde. It is a proposal that would be very difficult to turn down.

With the arrival of Bellingham, Real Madrid are now stacked in midfield. And that has caused many to wonder whether Valverde will get enough chances next season.

Rumours have suggested that Liverpool had tried to sign Valverde last summer as well but ultimately failed. However, the situation has changed since then and the Reds might have a better chance this time around.

Valverde is believed to be very happy in the Spanish capital though and has not shown any interest in leaving Real Madrid. The Uruguayan international is also believed to be a key part of Ancelotti’s plans for the upcoming season. Things can change very quickly in football though. Nobody saw Casemiro’s exit coming last summer.
