Real Madrid could do with another striker at this point of time. Following the exit of Karim Benzema, they are without a first-choice centre forward. Joselu has been brought in on a season-long loan but it feels unlikely that he would be able to fill the gap left behind by the Frenchman. And the only other player in the squad, capable of playing up top is 18-year-old Alvaro.

Thus, most fans are hoping that Real Madrid sign a world-class striker this summer. But that might be easier said than done.

The club have already splashed out to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. On the other hand, the uncertainty around the future of Kylian Mbappe has made things interesting as well.

Amidst all this, one player that Real Madrid have been linked with is Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian has failed to meet expectations in Turin, but he is still very highly rated around Europe. And it looks like Juventus want a big transfer fee to part ways with the 23-year-old.

As reported by Fichajes, Vlahovic has the exit door of Juventus wide open. But only as long as a club is willing to put an €80 million offer on the table.

Vlahovic has not been particularly impressive ever since arriving in Turin and so, that would be a steep fee to shell out for him this summer. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he has scored 23 goals and provided 6 assists in 63 appearances for Juventus till now.

Signing someone like Vlahovic would certainly come with a fair share of risk, especially if it involves an €80 million transfer fee. It feels much more likely that Real Madrid would try to either sign Mbappe this summer or wait another year for the Frenchman to become a free agent.
