Real Madrid have seen a number of key players depart in recent summers, setting in motion the start of the new generation lead by the youngsters at the club. At the end of last season, we saw the likes of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz head out the Santiago Bernabeu exit door.

The club are now looking to build around players like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham and more. There are still plenty of gaps in the squad that needs to be filled though and more arrivals are expected in the future.

One name that has been linked with Real Madrid over the last few months is that of Canadian international, Alphonso Davies. Some believe that the Bayern Munich ace is the type of player who can be a nailed on starter for Los Blancos for the next decade to come.

There seems to be some interest on the player’s part as well. As reported by Bayern Insider (via GOAL), Davies is waiting for an offer from Real Madrid.

Davies is a player who has been linked with Real Madrid for a while now. The Canadian international could be a potential replacement for Ferland Mendy, who faces an uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu.

With his current contract at Bayern Munich running until the summer of 2025, the Bundesliga club are believed to be looking to agree fresh terms with Davies. That has not materialised yet though.

As things stand, Real Madrid making a move for Davies seems unlikely this summer but it could be possible in the next one. Los Blancos have already signed a left-back in this window in the form of Fran Garcia, and let’s see how he does upon his return to the club.
