David Beckham is someone who will know all about the pressure that comes with playing for Real Madrid. The Englishman joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2003 from Manchester United in a blockbuster move and was part of the club’s famous Galacticos. He would stay on till 2007, before leaving for LA Galaxy.

Despite having some of the biggest names in the game, that was not the most successful era for Real Madrid in terms of success on the pitch. Beckham only won one La Liga title and a Supercopa de Espana during his time in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid have signed another very highly-rated English international this summer, in the form of Jude Bellingham. He has been brought in from Borussia Dortmund amidst huge expectations.

Bellingham might have turned 20 years of age just recently, but he is already considered one of the best midfielders on the planet and won the Bundesliga Player of the Season award last season. Thus, many believe that he has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or someday and what better place to do that than Real Madrid?

Beckham sends message to new Real Madrid signing

It appears that Beckham has sent a message to the new Real Madrid signing. As reported by the Mirror, Bellingham told PA news agency:

"“David Beckham messaged me briefly to wish me all the best.“It is one of those moves where everyone has their input from the outside so you do hear a lot of things and advice, I am quite good at filtering out the good from the bad, so far it has been really positive from ex-players. I will try and take that on board and at some point maybe get in touch with them and see how they adapted to life in Spain.”"

It will be interesting to see how things go for Bellingham at Real Madrid. He is certainly coming into a very talented midfield, that has the likes of Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni. They could form the core of the club in the middle of the park for the next decade to come.

On the other hand, Real Madrid also have two all-time legends like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Someone like Bellingham could certainly learn a lot, playing with those two next season.
