Real Madrid have brought in three new players already this summer, in the form of Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia and Joselu. The first two have arrived on a permanent basis while the Spanish international striker is on a season-long loan from Espanyol. And now, it looks like Los Blancos are on the verge of making their fourth addition of this window.

Real Madrid have done a great job in recent years, when it comes to identifying the right talent, signing them and then developing them into first-team stars. And it looks like they are set to sign one of Europe’s biggest talents.

Some of Europe’s biggest clubs have been interested in signing Arda Guler from Fenerbahce this summer. But it appears that he has decided to make the move to Santiago Bernabeu and it is now only a matter of time.

As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Guler to Real Madrid is a ‘here we go’. The deal is almost completed between the two clubs and documents are being checked for the Turkish wonderkid. It is going to be a €20 million fixed fee, 20% sell-on clause and extra add-ons in the ‘package’ plus taxes. The medical is being scheduled.

The move from Real Madrid could prove to be a masterstroke in the long run. Guler is considered the biggest talent in Turkish football right now.

So much so that he has even earned the nickname ‘The Turkish Messi’. And with Real Madrid’s recent record of developing wonderkids, he might be heading to the perfect club to fulfil his potential.

Despite being just 18 years of age, Guler already has some solid experience at the senior level. According to stats from Transfermarkt, in 51 appearances and 1914 minutes of football, he has scored 9 goals and provided 12 assists for Fenerbahce.
