Aurelien Tchouameni has been linked with a Real Madrid exit in recent weeks and months. And those rumours have only intensified following the arrival of Jude Bellingham this summer in a blockbuster move. The Frenchman was already struggling to get into the starting XI in important matches by the end of last season and now, he has some more competition for the midfield spots.

Tchouameni was signed by Real Madrid just last summer from AS Monaco for a transfer package believed to be around €100 million. But he has failed to meet expectations till now.

Tchouameni made a bright start to life at Real Madrid and took Casemiro’s place in the starting XI after the Brazilian joined Manchester United. The Frenchman’s form would fade away as the season progressed though.

He would lose his status as a nailed on starter after the World Cup break and was left on the bench in most of the big games in the second half of the season. That, combined with the arrival of Bellingham, has seen Tchouameni being linked with a move away this summer.

Tchouameni to Arsenal news amid Real Madrid exit rumours

One of the clubs rumoured to be interested in Tchouameni are Arsenal. But as reported by GIVEMESPORT, journalist Paul Brown said:

"“My understanding is that Arsenal don’t have a serious interest in Tchouameni. Even if they did, they know he’s unlikely to be leaving Real Madrid anytime soon.”"

Arsenal are on the verge of signing Declan Rice in a £105 million deal from West Ham United. As a result, a move for Tchouameni seems very unlikely now, even if the Premier League giants had held an interest in the Frenchman at one point of time.

Also, it feels like it might be way too early for Real Madrid to consider parting ways with Tchouameni. He has already shown glimpses of what he can do in the Royal White jersey and deserves another season to show what he is truly capable of on a consistent basis.
