Kylian Mbappe looks to be on the verge of leaving PSG this summer. The club have made it very clear that they want him to either sign a new contract over the coming weeks or leave in this window, so that they do not lose out on a transfer fee. It remains to be seen how things will play out over the coming weeks. Unsurprisingly, rumours about Real Madrid are doing rounds.

Of course, Mbappe will have a lot of say in the matter and for any transfer to happen, he will have to agree with the move. But at the same time, him staying on at PSG, if the club do not want him, would not be ideal either.

Thus, it is very much possible that Mbappe will leave PSG this summer. But for the time being, it does not look like Real Madrid are ready to make a move for the Frenchman in this window.

As reported by MARCA, Real Madrid denies having any contact with Mbappe and even less with PSG. They are not concerned by the statements of one party or the reactions of the other. For the move to happen, next January 1, the Frenchman must have signed a contract with Los Blancos.

Liverpool and Arsenal have also been named as possible destination in recent days. Also, if there is one thing we have learned from the Mbappe saga over the years, it is to never rule anything out. Not even a contract extension.
