Real Madrid players continue to be linked with moves away from Santiago Bernabeu this summer, despite their lack of squad depth. There have been high profile exits from the club in recent years though, so nothing should be ruled out. But hopefully, Los Blancos will keep their best players beyond this transfer window.

One player who has been most heavily linked with an exit is Aurelien Tchouameni. It was just last summer that he was signed by Real Madrid from AS Monaco in a blockbuster move.

Tchouameni made a very bright start to life at Real Madrid as well and established himself as a regular starter from early on in the season. But as the campaign progressed, his performances started to dip.

By the end of the season, he had lost his status as a nailed on starter and found himself on the bench in most of the big games. On top of that, Real Madrid have signed Jude Bellingham this summer, which has increased competition in midfield even further.

Bayern Munich ready to offer €100 million for Real Madrid player

Plenty of top clubs across Europe have been linked with a move for the French international. And now, as reported by SPORT, the information coming from Germany is that Bayern Munich would be willing to put a €100 million offer on the table for Tchouameni.

Despite the somewhat disappointing end to the campaign, Tchouameni did play a significant amount of football for the club. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he made 50 appearances and played for 2840 minutes for Real Madrid last season.

It was also Tchouameni’s first season of football outside of France. Thus, some stumbling blocks were to be expected. Hopefully, he will have learned from the previous campaign and will be a better player as a result. It is way too early to let the Frenchman go, as he has shown glimpses of world-class quality already.
