Real Madrid must sign €20 million Bayern Munich superstar

Real Madrid lost a few key players at the end of last season in the form of Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio. Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz left as well, and while they might not have been playing much football for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, there departures did reduce options going forward further.

At this point of time, Real Madrid’s options on the wings are Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo. On the other hand, up top they have Joselu and Alvaro.

That simply is not enough if they want to seriously challenge in all three competitions. Thus, the club could do with a few more additions and one world-class player appears to be available for a bargain transfer fee.

As reported by Sky Sport, Bayern Munich want a €20 million transfer fee to part ways with Sadio Mane this summer. They signed him from Liverpool for around €32 million last summer.

Mane was pretty much the marquee signing for Bayern Munich last summer, after the Senegal international enjoyed an incredible run at Liverpool. It felt like a transfer that simply could not fail. And yet, a year later, it looks like the Bundesliga champions are ready to go their separate ways.

A lot of that might have to do with the incident involving Mane and Leroy Sane. But the Senegalese icon’s performances on the pitch were nothing to write home about either. According to stats from Transfermarkt, he scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 38 appearances last season.

That is not bad, but not the numbers that Bayern Munich would have expected from Mane. One mediocre season does not change the fact that Mane is a superb player though and signing him for a €20 million fee would be a bargain for any club. Real Madrid should definitely consider a move, especially when you look at their lack of options going forward right now.
