Real Madrid have slowly but surely been building their squad for the future. They have invested a lot into bringing in young talents from all over the world and it has paid off as well, as they have already developed the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga into superstars. Even this summer, they have signed Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler.

Real Madrid’s midfield of the future is expected to be composed of the likes of Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Valverde and Bellingham, if they all remain at the club. Amidst all this, one midfielder who has got lost in the shuffle is Reinier.

By now, Reinier is someone a lot of fans might have even forgotten about. And considering how unremarkable his past three seasons have been, out on loan, it is not hard to understand why.

As reported by AS, Reinier will go out on loan again, because this season he has no place in the team. The club is working to find a way out for him and there is strong interest from Girona.

Real Madrid ready to loan out €30 million Brazilian player

Reinier arrived at Real Madrid in January of 2020 from Flamengo for a transfer fee believed to be around €30 million. However three years later and the Brazilian still has yet to make his first team debut for Los Blancos.

Reinier spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund. And he was with La Liga side, Girona, on a temporary basis during the 2022/23 campaign. None of those were impressive though and it feels like he is quickly running out of time to show Real Madrid what he is capable of.

With his loan at Girona expiring, Reinier is back at Real Madrid and has started pre-season training with the rest of the squad. But as things stand, he does not seem to be in the first-team plans for next season.
