Real Madrid have moved away from Galactico-style signings in recent years and focused more of signing some of the best young talents from around the globe. That strategy has served them well too, as they have continued to win silverware and developed some superstars along the way at the same time.

One player who falls under the category of both a Galactico and a young talent is Jude Bellingham. The Englishman just turned 20 years of age recently. But he is coming off of a Bundesliga Player of the Season-winning campaign.

Bellingham is a special talent and he could be a stalwart in the middle of the park for Real Madrid for the next decade-and-a-half to come if his development follows the expected trajectory.

One player who was part of Real Madrid’s original Galactico era is David Beckham. And the Englishman appears to have some great advice for Bellingham.

Beckham gives advice to Real Madrid signing

As reported by AS, Beckham gave Bellingham some advice in an interview with Sports Illustrated:

"“First, learn the language. Enjoy yourself. Get to know your teammates and have fun. It’s Real Madrid!”"

Beckham joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2003. He would go on to spend four years in the Spanish capital before moving to LA Galaxy in 2007. He would later have spells at clubs like AC Milan and PSG as well.

During Beckham’s time at Real Madrid, the club had a plethora of stars on the roster. Yet, they seemed to lack the balance necessary to be a winning team. As a result, the Englishman only won a La Liga and a Supercopa de Espana over the course of his four years at Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid fans would be hoping that Bellingham ends up enjoying a lot more success than that in a Royal White jersey. He does come into the club in the middle of a transitional phase though. So there could be some growing pains.
