Real Madrid struggled with a lack of squad depth last season. On top of that, their options were reduced further with Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz leaving at the end of the campaign. Thus, Los Blancos cannot really afford any more departures from the first-team. They appear to be ready to let a few highly-rated youngsters go though.

Real Madrid have had a great record when it comes to identifying youngsters from around the globe, signing them and then developing them into first-team starters. The same cannot be said about their own youth stars.

A number of highly-rated youngsters have come through the youth ranks at Real Madrid but never really gotten a chance in the first-team. Quite a few have done extremely well after leaving though.

For example, Achraf Hakimi has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the game. On the other hand, the club signed Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, after his impressive spell there. Yet, it looks like they are ready to part ways a few of their most highly-rated Castilla players.

As reported by MARCA, the likes of Arribas, Dotor, Rafa Marin, Alvaro Martin, Marvin, Antonio Blanco, Bruno Iglesias and Julen Jon have no place in the first-team at the moment. The expectation is that the possible exits could bring in around €25 million.

Transfers have become a part of the development of Real Madrid players over the years though. Of course, Garcia is a prime example of that. If we look further back in the past, Dani Carvajal is someone who had a similar experience and has gone on to become a legend.

Thus, it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for youngsters like Marin, Arribas, Dotor and more. At this stage, they need to be playing regular football at the senior level.
