Real Madrid have done a truly fantastic job when it comes to identifying and signing young talents from around the world, and then developing them into first-team regulars at Santiago Bernabeu. This transfer policy has led to rise of players like Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and many more. Even this summer, they have brought in Arda Guler, who is already impressing everyone with his quality in pre-season training.

Real Madrid have been nowhere near as successful though, when it comes to promoting their own youth stars to the senior team. As a result, many highly-rated youngsters have come through the ranks at La Fabrica, only to leave without ever getting a real chance.

We have seen that happen time and time happen over the years. And now, it is time to add another name to that quickly growing list.

As tweeted out by Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid and Celta Vigo have reached an agreement for €3 million for Carlos Dotor. Los Blancos will retain 50% rights. The Sky Blues and the midfielder are closing the details. If there are no inconveniences, he will sign for five seasons.

Dotor is one of the most highly-rated talents in the Real Madrid developmental system right now. He joined the club in 2015 and has even captained them at the Castilla level.

Unfortunately, it has not been enough to even earn him his first-team debut. At 22 years of age, he needs to be playing regular football at the senior level though. So, it is time for him to leave for a club where he will get regular minutes.

A return to Real Madrid in the future cannot be ruled out either if he manages to impress. Look out things turned out for Fran Garcia, who returned to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
