Rumours had suggested that Marin was giving a priority to offers from Spanish clubs. But if teams the calibre of Chelsea and PSG come calling, it would be very difficult for the 21-year-old to turn the opportunity down.

There are fears that his 2023/24 season might be already over and at the very least, he is set to be out for several months.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea or PSG do end up making a move for Marin this summer. The youngster also has to question whether he would get consistent player time there, which is what he needs right now.
