Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe and those rumours are picking up momentum, since PSG have decided to leave the French World Cup winner out of their pre-season tour and there have been suggestions that he will no longer train with the first-team players. He has never looked closer to the exit door.

Real Madrid signing Mbappe this summer will be complex, as the operation could end up costing them around £400 million when all things are taken into account. But a move is certainly not impossible.

Some fans are concerned about the future of Vinicius Jr in the team though, in the scenario that Real Madrid do end up signing Mbappe. Both of them prefer to play on the left flank.

Of course, Mbappe will be used to playing in a central role, having done so at PSG over the years. It is believed though that he prefers to play on the left flank rather than up top.
