Kylian Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is very much up in the air right now and he looks closer to the exit door right now than he has done ever before. Unlike in the past, this time around, PSG seem keen to see the 2018 World Cup winner leave. That is because there is only a year left on his contract and they do not want to see the Frenchman leave as a free agent in 2024, and miss out on an significant transfer fee as a result. Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid are being linked.
Real Madrid are not the only club who have been linked with an interest in Mbappe recently though. The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea were rumoured to be keeping a close eye on the situation as well.
But there seems to be a positive update for Real Madrid in that regard. As reported by Le Parisien (via Madrid Xtra), Manchester United and Chelsea will not go further in the Mbappe file.
That is superb news for Real Madrid. On top of that, there have also been suggestions that Mbappe is not interested in a move to Al-Hilal, despite the chance to earn a world-record salary on offer.
