Harry Kane is one of the most in-demand players in the ongoing summer transfer window and has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and many others. Yet, a move has not materialised for the Tottenham Hotspur striker yet, who has only a year left on his current deal.

Tottenham Hotspur will surely want to either agree a contract extension with Kane as soon as possible or transfer him before the window closes. Otherwise, they risk seeing him walk out as a free agent next summer.

PSG find themselves in exactly the same situation when it comes to Kylian Mbappe. And the club seem to be open to the idea of him heading to North London.

As Ben Jacobs wrote in his exclusive column for CaughtOffside, PSG are interested in signing Kane and they would gladly send Mbappe the other way if he doesn’t extend his contract. However, it is not though that the England national team captain is particularly sold on the Ligue 1 champions despite the links.

While PSG might be interested in Mbappe heading to Tottenham Hotspur, it is hard to imagine that the player would be open to the move. With all due respect to the Premier League side, they have not won a trophy since 2008.

At this point of time, Real Madrid look like the heavy favourites to sign Mbappe, whether he leaves PSG this summer or the next one. Of course, nothing is certain in football and there could be an unexpected twist. So, let’s not take anything for granted.

Let’s see what the future holds for Mbappe. PSG want him to leave this summer so that they do not miss out on a transfer fee. But the final decision lies with the World Cup winner.
