Real Madrid have signed some of the brightest young talents from around the world in recent years. Just this summer, they have brought in Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and Arda Guler from Fenerbahce, two of the brightest youngsters in all of football right now. Both of them are believed to have impressed the coaching staff already.

Real Madrid have built up quite the reputation for signing young talents and developing them into key players. Thus, it is only natural that the club have been linked with Rasmus Hojlund in recent times as well.

Hojlund is considered one of the best young strikers in all of Europe. Unfortunately, it does not look like Real Madrid are positioned to make a move for him this summer and as a result, he might end up elsewhere.

Manchester United and PSG are both believed to have submitted transfer bids for Hojlund. And now, it looks like the Red Devils have improved theirs.

As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United improved their bid to Atalanta during direct talks. It will be more than a €60 million package. The Red Devils want to close the deal as soon as possible. Hojlund wants the move as well.

Thus, it looks like things are picking up pace in the Hojlund transfer race. And at this point of time, Manchester United look like heavy favourites to sign him from Atalanta this summer.

Real Madrid do not even appear to be in the race, despite being linked with Hojlund on multiple occasions in the past. Instead, it looks like Mbappe ending up at Santiago Bernabeu is a very real possibility this summer. Unlike other times in the past, PSG actually want to part ways with him this time around. Hopefully, a deal can be reached very soon.
