Real Madrid stance on €250 million Kylian Mbappe move

There have been constant rumours surrounding Kylian Mbappe potentially joining Real Madrid this summer. It has become quite clear that Paris Saint-Germain want him to leave the club, if he does not end up extending his contract. But the ball is in the Frenchman’s court, as he only has a year left on his current deal.

Mbappe was left out of PSG’s pre-season tour recently. On the other hand, it is believed that he also turned down a record move to Al-Hilal.

It would not be ideal for Mbappe to remain at PSG for another season if they do not want him at the club anymore. Recently, rumours have emerged that the Ligue 1 champions want a transfer fee of around €250 million for the World Cup winner. Will Real Madrid end up making a move for him?

As reported by AS, Real Madrid would not be willing to shell out either €225 million or €250 million. They believe that Mbappe will see out his contract with PSG.

Some sources believe that Real Madrid are planning to make a move, but only when it is clear that their offer will be accepted as they are not keen on repeating the past when they failed to sign Mbappe. Others believe that the club want him as a free agent next summer and are happy with their current squad.
