Real Madrid defender out for around a month with injury

One issue that has hurt Real Madrid over the past number of seasons is injuries. Since his arrival at Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, Mendy has suffered a long list of injuries. Those have ended up sidelining the Frenchman for a significant amount of time and he has missed a lot of games as a result. And this is the last thing he needed, with question marks around his future already.
