Real Madrid have made four additions to their squad this summer till now. They have brought in Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia and Arda Guler on a permanent basis, while Joselu has been signed on a season-long loan deal from Espanyol. It remains to be seen if further signings will be made in this window. The Kylian Mbappe rumours just refuse to go away and a move of that magnitude would shake up European football.

Things never stay still at Real Madrid though. There are already rumours about plans for the 2024 summer transfer window.

It is very possible that Mbappe could join Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 as a free agent. They are being linked with potential moves for other highly-rated players as well.

Alphonso Davies is a player who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for quite some time now. And it looks like Los Blancos’ hopes of signing the Bayern Munich left-back have been handed a boost.

As reported by Defensa Central (via Football Espana), Davies has confirmed to Real Madrid that he is interested in a move to Santiago Bernabeu. As a result, Los Blancos will look to bring about a deal.

Davies’ current deal with Bayern Munich runs until the summer of 2025. The idea appears to be for Real Madrid to make a move for the Canadian international next summer. If the Bundesliga giants are unable to agree a new deal with the left-back, then they would be under pressure to let him go at that point.

It remains to be seen how things play out. A lot might depend on how Garcia performs this season. It would be a mistake to write him off before he has even kicked a ball for Los Blancos in a competitive game.
