Legends like David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistelrooy might have made the switch to Santiago Bernabeu from Old Trafford but Manchester United have signed plenty of players from Real Madrid in recent years. Angel Di Maria joined the Red Devils back in 2014. Raphael Varane made the move in 2021. And Casemiro signed for the Premier League giants last summer.

This summer, Manchester United have been linked with quite a few of Real Madrid’s players. Can the Red Devils make it three summers in a row of signing one of Los Blancos’ stars? Time shall tell.

There have been several clubs that have been linked with Aurelien Tchouameni this summer. And it looks like Manchester United are on that list as well.

As reported by SPORT, Erik ten Hag wants Tchouameni at Manchester United. The English club are considering presenting an economic proposal very similar to what Real Madrid shelled out exactly one year ago.

At this point in time, it is believed that Real Madrid want to continue with Tchouameni and that the player is happy in the Spanish capital as well. But things can change quickly at Santiago Bernabeu.

The Kylian Mbappe saga could end up playing its part as well. If Real Madrid end up signing the Frenchman this summer from PSG, they might have to let someone go. And the midfield would be the most likely position for an exit, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side are stacked there.

For the time being, Tchouameni seems to be in Real Madrid’s plans. The Frenchman deserves another season in the Royal White jersey to show the world what he is truly capable of. And some of his excellent performances in pre-season must have only strengthened his case. Let’s see how things play out.
