Real Madrid have a number of youngsters right now, who could be on their way out this summer. The club just have not been able to bring through their youth stars into the senior time in recent years, despite having a lot of talent at the Castilla level. And now, quite a few of them look set to be on their way out.

One of the most highly-rated young talents at Real Madrid right now is Sergio Arribas. For a long time, fans have called for him to be given chances but they simply have not come often enough.

Now, it looks like Arribas will be leaving Real Madrid this summer. And quite a few teams are rumoured to be in the running to sign the Spaniard.

As reported by AS, Real Madrid hopes to close the transfer before the end of the week, with Almeria and Mallorca well placed. A right of first refusal will be preserved, as well as a 50% sell-on clause. The club want a €10 million fee. Arribas prioritises playing over going to a big-name team.

It remains to be seen how things will play out over the coming days. But it should not be difficult to find Arribas a new club this summer.

Despite his struggles getting into Real Madrid’s senior team, he remains one of the brightest young talents in Spanish football. According to stats from Transfermarkt, Arribas has made 14 appearances and played 183 minutes of football till now.

That is simply nowhere near enough. Arribas is set to turn 22 years of age next month. He needs to be playing regularly at this stage of his career. Thus, a move away from Real Madrid seems to be the best step for him right now. And if he can prove himself elsewhere, a return to Santiago Bernabeu in the future cannot be ruled out.
