After spending the early portion of the summer transfer window in parting ways with several of their players, Chelsea have been active when it comes to making signings in recent weeks. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are expected to make a few more signings over the next month. And one player they are being linked with recently is rumoured to be a Real Madrid target as well.

It is no secret that Real Madrid are in need of a striker right now. So much so that Carlo Ancelotti changed formations to a 4-4-2 in pre-season, with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, two natural wingers, playing up front.

That is not ideal, to say the least. It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid sign a striker over the coming month. One player that they have been linked with is Dusan Vlahovic.

But a move to Santiago Bernabeu does not seem to be on the cards for the Serbian. As tweeted out by Forza Juventus, the only possible destination for Vlahovic at the moment is Chelsea according to Romeo Agresti.

Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Chelsea lately. It is believed that Juventus are looking for Romelu Lukaku plus a transfer fee in order to part ways with the Serbian international striker.

No agreement has been reached yet between the two clubs. Let’s see if that ends up changing over the coming weeks.

To be honest, Chelsea might not even need a striker anymore, despite how much they struggled in front of goal last season. Nicolas Jackson has proven to be a revelation in pre-season for the Blues and looks ready to lead the line for them. Christopher Nkunku is capable of playing there as well. And the club also have Armando Broja in their ranks, while David Datro Fofana is out on loan at Union Berlin for the season.
