Real Madrid have been linked with a long list of players in recent times even though they have not been as active in the summer transfer window as was expected heading into it. The club have signed Jude Bellingham, Fran Garcia and Arda Guler while Joselu has been brought in on a season-long loan deal from Espanyol.

One area where they are lacking in depth is striker, with Karim Benzema leaving at the end of last season. Most believe that the arrival of Joselu has not done enough to fill the Frenchman’s boots.

Thus, Real Madrid could certainly do with a world-class centre-forward right now. A move for Kylian Mbappe is still a possibility.

There have also been rumours though that Real Madrid could try to sign Dusan Vlahovic if a move for Mbappe fails to transpire this summer. Yet, it looks like the Serbian might be headed elsewhere.

According to Nicolo Schira and as tweeted out by Forza Juventus, Vlahovic has agreed a contract with Chelsea worth €10 million per year.

Thus, it looks like Vlahovic joining Chelsea might be a real possibility. Such a move could see Romelu Lukaku heading in the opposite direction while the Blues will have to add a transfer fee on top of that as well.

Now, it remains to be seen whether a move materialises or not. It would make sense for all parties involved though. Neither Lukaku nor Vlahovic appear to be at the right clubs at this point in time and could do with a change in scenery this summer.

As for Real Madrid, they might have to move their sights elsewhere. While Vlahovic is a good talent, it is hard to see Los Blancos shelling out that kind of a transfer figure in order to sign the Serbian striker.
